No One Mourns the Wicked

This is the main reason we flew to Melbourne. But I discovered many more reasons......

Spending time with good friends.... Everyone looking fabulous in their green attire....Making new friends......Discovering an incredible Art Deco exhibit......These handsome fellas weren't part of the exhibit but a photo was in order. Art Deco favorites such as......
Lalique BacchantesKiki de MontparnasseLotus Dressing Table (this would be perfect for my dressing area in our new home, don't ya think?)Many streets and lanes like Degraves St. with shops and cafes...... (Hi, Nat!)Great architecture like.......
Flinders Street StationThe ceiling in the lobby of the historical Regent Theatre, taken just before I was kindly instructed to put my camera away.....

.....but I, of course, had to sneak a shot of this amazing chandelier inside.

Much goofing off.......
Jess having a laugh as Pete shares his famous fried egg story......

Seriously, Pete, can't you just give me a smile? ;-)
Pete, really..... (I wouldn't have him any other way)
"You're just jealous."
Trying to figure out the tickety thing on the tram gave us a good chuckle...
Nick discovering just how fanTAStic his new iPhone is.....Nat having a relaxing sit just before hitting the town!
A fun time was had by all. Thanks to Nat and Nick for making the arrangements and thanks to Michael's parents for supplying the wonderful welcome package of food and drink.

QUOTE FROM A FRIEND

"Perhaps the reason you stay together after all these years is the fact that you’re still trying to capture each other any way you can, every moment you have. Maybe the fact that you never can catch it all keeps it so fascinating."

Thanks for stopping by. I thought starting this page would be a fun way to keep in touch and you can see what I've been up to. My life took a surprising and wonderful turn back in 2006. Whoda thought I'd find myself leaving Chicago and moving to the other side of the world where I'm now enjoying life in Australia!
